EDGEWOOD, Md. (AP) - Authorities say a 12-year-old girl stabbed her 14-year-old sister in Edgewood.

WBAL-TV (https://bit.ly/1HHk7eu ) reports deputies are investigating the stabbing, which happened Sunday afternoon.

The victim, who was stabbed once, was taken to a pediatric trauma center. Officials say she is in stable condition with injuries that are believed to be non-life threatening.

The 12-year-old was interviewed by deputies and was charged as a juvenile. It is unclear what she was charged with or if the girl has a lawyer.
