SNOHOMISH, Wash. (AP) - A cougar sighting and a bomb threat have made for an interesting day at a Snohomish middle school.

KCPQ-TV reports (https://is.gd/WcaQdT ) that Centennial Middle School students were first instructed to stay indoors Tuesday after a sheriff’s deputy spotted a cougar on a nearby trail. The deputy tried to follow the cougar but lost sight of it.

A short time later the students were ordered to evacuate after a threat was found written on the wall in a boys bathroom. The Snohomish County Sheriff’s office was investigating the threat.
