DENVER (AP) - Denver police say a suspect was shot in the arm during an exchange of gunfire with officers but is expected to survive.
The shooting happened early Tuesday morning downtown after police responded to a report of a man with a gun.
The man fled after the shooting but was captured five blocks away.
The investigation closed streets during the early part of the morning commute, forcing detours for buses and light rail.
