NEW YORK (AP) - Police say the driver of a sport utility vehicle was killed after colliding with a city bus on Staten Island.
It happened around 4 a.m. Tuesday at Victory Boulevard and Signs Road in the Bulls Head section of the borough.
Police say the 32-year-old driver was ejected from the car and pronounced dead at the scene.
They say the SUV hit the driver’s side of the MTA bus and then struck a fence.
The driver of the bus suffered a fractured leg.
The lone passenger on the bus was not injured.
