PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) - Gas prices in Rhode Island continue to rise.
AAA Northeast says its weekly survey released Tuesday found prices for regular rose 4 cents a gallon to an average $2.69.
That’s 5 cents less than the national average of $2.74 per gallon.
A year ago at this time, gas in Rhode Island cost $3.70 per gallon on average. That’s $1.01 per gallon higher, or nearly 38 percent.
