WESTVILLE, Fla. (AP) - One person was injured during a standoff with a sheriff’s deputy in the Florida Panhandle.

The News Herald of Panama City (https://bit.ly/1HHGgt8 ) reports deputies responded Monday to a tip that two men with felony warrants were at thea home in Westville.

As the deputies tried to make contact with the men, one of them pulled a gun. Holmes County Sheriff’s officials say the deputy fired his gun, injuring the man. He was taken to a hospital, but his injuries were not immediately available.

A second man surrendered to authorities a short time later. A third person briefly barricaded himself in the home, but was eventually arrested.

No further details were immediately available.

Westville is northwest of Panama City, near Interstate 10.
