GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (AP) - Authorities have released the name of a man who drowned in a canal in the western Colorado town of Loma.
The Mesa County coroner’s office identified the victim as 37-year-old Janitzio De Filipe Diaz-Panigua, whose body was found May 10. His death has been ruled an accident.
KKCO-TV reports (https://goo.gl/zcYkaP ) Diaz-Panigua recently moved to Grand Junction from Glenwood Springs. The Mesa County Sheriff’s Office had sought the public’s help in identifying the body.
