BURLINGTON, Mass. (AP) - Massachusetts authorities are investigating a pair of fatal car crashes over the Memorial Day weekend.

State police say a 25-year-old Lowell woman died in a crash on Interstate 95 in Wakefield at about 6:30 a.m. Monday.

Police say Grace Kabuti was driving north when her car swerved and rolled over. She died at the hospital. Her passenger, a 22-year-old Lowell man, suffered minor injuries.

A 72-year-old Andover woman died in a crash car near the Burlington Mall on Saturday evening. The Middlesex district attorney’s office identified the victim as Khatijha Kasgalwala died in the one-car crash.

A man, believed to be the driver, was cut from the vehicle and taken to the hospital with head injuries.

Both fatalities remain under investigation.
