TOOELE, Utah (AP) - Officials in Tooele County say they want to find a new operator or owner for the Miller Motorsports Park.

The Larry H. Miller Group of Companies announced earlier this month that it would no longer run the racing park after October.

Tooele County Commissioner Sean Milne (MIL’-en) says some organizations have expressed interest in running part or all of the facility, but he says many were not serious or capable of running the facility.

He says there’s about a half dozen parties that may be real candidates.

Milne says it’s too soon to say when a decision about a new operator could be made.

The Salt Lake Tribune reports (https://bit.ly/1FA2B88 ) tenants operating teams out of the park say they’re concerned and are already losing business because of the uncertain ownership.
