WAYNE, W.Va. (AP) - Three Wayne men have pleaded no contest to trespassing in a case involving a hidden camera in a high school locker room.
Media outlets report that Scott D. Followay, Jeffrey L. Spence and James Ramey III entered their pleas on Tuesday in Wayne County Circuit Court.
Judge James H. Young Jr. fined each man $50 plus court costs. Under a plea agreement, destruction of property charges were dismissed.
The men were accused of installing a camera disguised as a smoke detector on the ceiling of a building on the school’s campus in March 2014. The building is used as a locker room for visiting football, baseball and softball teams. Wayne athletes also use the building as a weight room.
