FREMONT, Calif. (AP) - Ice cream maker Ben & Jerry’s has introduced a new ice cream flavor, one with climate change in mind.

KPIX in San Francisco reports (https://cbsloc.al/1GEQQiZ ) Wednesday that the new ice cream is called ‘Save Our Swirled.’

The raspberry ice cream was unveiled at the headquarters of electric auto maker Tesla.

The new flavor features raspberry ice cream with marshmallow and raspberry swirls, and chunks of white and dark chocolate fudge.

Ben & Jerry’s hopes to inspire ice cream lovers to support action on climate change.

The Vermont-based company has a history of supporting political and social causes, including gay marriage and food labeling.
