PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) - A Multnomah County sheriff’s spokesman says a body found floating in the Willamette River has been identified as that of 52-year-old Portland woman.
Lt. Steve Alexander says Marie Louise Dexter drowned and there were no signs of foul play.
Her body was recovered Friday after a passer-by spotted it floating near a dock north of the Steel Bridge in Portland.
The county medical examiner conducted an autopsy and identified the woman.
