NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. (AP) - A boil water advisory has been issued for residents of six Westchester County communities.

Westchester health officials say it will be effect from 10 a.m. to midnight Wednesday in New Rochelle, Eastchester, Bronxville, Tuckahoe, Pelham and Pelham Manor .

Some 150,000 residents and businesses are advised to boil all tap water for at least one minute prior to drinking or cooking, dish washing or brushing teeth.

The order is being issued as a precaution while New York City Department of Environmental Protection performs scheduled maintenance of its chlorination system.
