ATLANTA (AP) - Only eight months after groundbreaking, the Atlanta Braves already have launched season-ticket sales for their 2017 opening season in their new suburban stadium.

The team announced Wednesday it began sales for SunTrust Park in Cobb County. The stadium site is now a work zone inhabited by cranes and bulldozers.

The team has opened a preview center, designed for current and prospective customers, at an office building adjacent to the construction site. Prices have not been disclosed for single-game seats at the new park, which will have about 41,000 seats.

The Braves are promoting the mixed-use area around the stadium, including a hotel, restaurants and shopping. Those amenities are lacking in the neighborhood surrounding the Turner Field, the team’s current home near downtown Atlanta.
