WATERTOWN, N.Y. (AP) - State police are seeking the public’s help in identifying more than 100 items that were stolen from a four-county region in northern New York.

Troopers say 34-year-old Loren Woodard was charged with burglary after police responded to a report of a break-in on May 2 at the American Legion post in the Jefferson County village of Black River.

An investigation led to the recovery of property that police believe was stolen during burglaries of homes, businesses and storage units in Jefferson, Lewis, Oswego and St. Lawrence counties. The items include laptop computers and digital cameras.

Anyone who believes their property is among the stolen items is being asked to contact the New York State Police in Watertown.

Woodard is being held in the Jefferson County Jail.
