CONCORD, N.H. (AP) - A federal prison inmate in Berlin, New Hampshire, has been sentenced for fashioning a 6-inch piece of wood into a stabbing weapon.
The U.S. Attorney’s office said the item was found on 29-year-old Joshua Starr during a routine search last year.
Starr was sentenced to 15 months imprisonment, to be served consecutively to his current sentence for an armed carjacking. The federal Bureau of Prisons website lists him as scheduled for release in October 2018.
