CANON CITY, Colo. (AP) - Unincorporated parts of Fremont County are under a state of emergency due to damage caused by flooding.

The Daily Record reports (https://bit.ly/1KzJgbH) commissioners voted Tuesday to declare the local emergency as heavy rain and flooding has caused significant damage and closed several roads.

Fremont County Emergency Manager Steve Morrisey says he hopes the cost of repairs, as yet unknown, will be reimbursed to the county.
