MANHEIM, Pa. (AP) - Workers are going to move a 100-year-old silo so it can become a viewing platform giving people sweeping vistas of Lancaster County’s farmland.

They will shift the silo, which is 100-feet tall and weighs 480,000 pounds, 300 yards at Kreider Farms in Manheim Wednesday.

Ron Kreider tells WGAL-TV (https://bit.ly/1J0H6l1 ) he made it about halfway up before his knees started shaking. But he says the view is beautiful.
