LAS VEGAS (AP) - Las Vegas Fire and Rescue officials say are calling an apartment fire that broke out Tuesday morning arson.
The Las Vegas Sun reports (https://bit.ly/1KAbQKa) the fire injured no one but caused $15,000 in damage, destroying two rooms. Smoke and water impacted nearby apartments.
Firefighters had the blaze under control in seven minutes. The department says the resident of the burned unit is a person of interest.
Southern Nevada’s American Red Cross was at the site of the blaze. Fire officials could not confirm whether any of the seven people living in the building were displaced by the fire.
