MISSOULA, Mont. (AP) - A funeral home has identified a 23-year-old Superior woman who died after crashing her car near Alberton.

The Missoulian reports (https://bit.ly/1dwCiH1 ) that officials from the Cremation and Burial Services of the Rockies say Markkaya Jean Gullett was pronounced dead at the scene Friday.

Montana Highway Patrol says the woman’s Ford Explorer SUV lost a tire while she drove on I-90. The SUV hit the median, rolled down an embankment, and landed on its roof.

Trooper Steve Gaston says Gullett was not wearing a seat belt.

A man and two young children who were in the vehicle were taken to Community Medical Center with minor injuries. They were treated and released.

Gullett’s death marks the 44th vehicle fatality in Montana this year.
