ROCK HILL, S.C. (AP) - Officers arrested two teenagers after they say weapons were found on them while walking between two apartment complexes in Rock Hill.
The Rock Hill Herald (https://bit.ly/1FVWK0o ) reports the boys, ages 14 and 15, were arrested Friday night. York County deputies say the boys were dropped off by their parents at a pond to fish and instead broke into a home and stole multiple firearms, which they threw to the ground while officers pursued them.
Officials say the juveniles found a safe in a bedroom closet and took two .38-caliber revolvers, a .45-caliber pistol and two holsters.
The boys were each charged with carrying a pistol unlawfully and possession of a pistol under 18 years of age. The stolen property was returned to the home.
