WINDSOR, Colo. (AP) - Authorities are asking for the public’s help in finding whoever shot a man to death when he was bicycling on a rural road in northern Colorado.

The Coloradoan of Fort Collins reports (https://noconow.co/1BogfHv ) that the Windsor Police Department announced Tuesday that it will continue to investigate 48-year-old John Jacoby’s death, though no arrests had been made and no suspect description has been released.

The FBI is helping police investigate, but authorities haven’t said much about what they’ve learned since Jacoby’s body was found.

Lt. Richard Higuera says Jacoby was cycling northwest of Windsor Lake on May 18 when he was shot twice. A passing motorist found his body. First responders initially thought Jacoby was the victim of a hit-and-run crash, but they soon discovered he had been shot twice.
