BELFAIR, Wash. (AP) - The Mason County sheriff’s office says two people have been arrested for investigation of murder in connection with a killing at a residence near Belfair, Washington.

The sheriff’s office says the investigation continues. Details of the arrests were not immediately available Wednesday evening.

The Kitsap Sun reports that Mason County Coroner Wes Stockwell identified the victim as 61-year-old Charles Austin, who died of a gunshot wound.

Detectives believe Austin died last weekend. Chief Deputy Ryan Spurling says officers were called Monday to the Belfair View Estates.
