FRANKLIN, Tenn. (AP) - Prosecutors from across Kentucky and Tennessee are meeting this week to learn more about vehicular homicide cases.

The training event is taking place through Friday in Franklin, Tennessee.

Traffic Safety Resource Prosecutor Robert Stokes of the Kentucky attorney general’s office is presenting training along with his counterparts in Tennessee. Attorney General Jack Conway’s office says the idea is to create a team-building approach between crash reconstruction officers and state prosecutors.

The training is funded in part through the Kentucky Office of Highway Safety with grant funds from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. The Kentucky Office of Highway Safety is helping with the event and other regional training in traffic safety.
