TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - A fire in an apartment on Tucson’s east side sent two people to the hospital.
The Fire Department says one person needed treatment for smoke inhalation and the other had burns to her hands. Both were already out of the apartment when firefighters arrived.
The fire occurred Wednesday morning in a ground-floor unit. Eight units with 21 firefighters responded.
Cause of the fire is under investigation. No damage estimate was immediately available.
