AZUSA, Calif. (AP) - Police say two teenage boys were hit by gunshots fired into the bedroom of a home in eastern Los Angeles County, and a third boy was hit by flying glass.
Asuza police Sgt. Andy Sutcliffe says the shooting happened late Wednesday in a residential area of the small city northeast of downtown LA.
Sutcliffe says the three boys were taken to a hospital for treatment but their conditions are not immediately known early Thursday.
Officials say the shooter apparently walked up to a bedroom window and opened fire.
Investigators have not named a suspect or a motive.
The shooting victims are 16 and 13 while the boy hit by glass fragments is 17. Sutcliffe says the three are not related.
Azusa is a city of about 45,000 people in the foothills of the San Gabriel Mountains.
