PHOENIX (AP) - The death of a man found in a crashed SUV is being investigated by Phoenix police as a homicide.

Police received a 911 call after the SUV crashed into a tree at approximately 2 a. m. Thursday.

Sgt. Jonathan Howard said the man had apparent gunshot wounds and that he was pronounced dead at the scene.



Police laid out evidence markers at another location down the street.

Howard said police were asking that anyone with information contact the Police Department.
