LAYTON, Pa. (AP) - Authorities say they’ve recovered the body of a 26-year-old man who disappeared in the Youghiogheny (YOCK-uh-gain-ee) River while retrieving a football.
The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review reported Thursday (https://bit.ly/1J8ZBST ) that Josh McKenna’s body was pulled from the river a few hours after he went into the river to get a boy’s football.
Fire officials say the Charleroi resident had been enjoying the afternoon with friends when the drowning occurred.
