BIG RAPIDS, Mich. (AP) - Ferris State University says two alumni have given $1.5 million to the Big Rapids school and its College of Pharmacy.

The gift from Jeff and Annette Rowe was announced by Ferris State on Wednesday. It includes $1 million for renovation of the Hagerman Pharmacy Building and $500,000 for an annual scholarship program.

The donation from the Rowes follows a $5 million gift announced in February for the College of Pharmacy that was the biggest in Ferris State’s history.
