CLEAR LAKE, Iowa (AP) - A 49-year-old man has pleaded guilty to neglecting a dependent person in northern Iowa.
The Mason City Globe Gazette reports (https://bit.ly/1d1oh3d ) that Brian McDaid, of Clear Lake, filed a written plea in Cerro Gordo County District Court on Tuesday. A hearing is scheduled for Monday.
A criminal complaint says McDaid was the primary caregiver for an adult female and says he didn’t provide food, water or medication to the woman for several days in October.
