ALEXANDRIA, La. (AP) - Rapides Parish Coliseum items to be auctioned off Saturday run the gamut from machines to warm hot dogs and nacho cheese to the flooring on which Top 28 and Sweet 16 basketball games were played.

The Town Talk reports (https://townta.lk/1HxTgfx) the auction is set for 10 a.m. Saturday in Exhibition Hall, which is located on the Coliseum grounds on La. Highway 28 West.

Exhibition Hall is full of items to be auctioned off without minimum bids.

Police Juror Bubba Moreau, who has been a licensed auctioneer for about 40 years, is donating his time and efforts to handling the auction.

The Coliseum is undergoing a $22.9 million renovation and will be getting all new furnishings, so the old items are being auctioned off to raise money and to clear space.
