LIVINGSTON, La. (AP) - State police say a 29-year-old Holden man died in a single-vehicle crash in Livingston Parish.
Troopers were called to Louisiana Highway 42 about 3:30 a.m. Wednesday, where they discovered the body of Mark Lineske.
Authorities believe he was driving a pickup eastbound when he ran off the road entering a turn. The truck went into a ditch and struck a culvert.
Troopers said in a news release that Lineske was not wearing a seat belt and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators say speed and impairment may have contributed to the crash.
