WATERTOWN, S.D. (AP) - A suspect in a North Carolina homicide has been apprehended in South Dakota.

The Argus Leader newspaper reports (https://argusne.ws/1HO6tTT ) that Antonio Currie of Gibsonville, North Carolina, was arrested in Watertown on Wednesday.

Police Sgt. Troy VanDusen says Currie was arrested after his pickup truck was spotted between Brookings and Sioux Falls.

Currie is wanted on a first-degree murder charge in North Carolina. Police in Wilson, North Carolina, had issued a warrant for his arrest.
