STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) - Oklahoma State soccer player Courtney Dike has been named to the Nigeria roster for the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Canada.

Dike is one of 23 players on the roster selected by Nigeria coach Edwin Okon. The 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup takes place in various Canadian cities from June 6-July 5.

Dike was born in Oklahoma City and raised in Edmond. Her parents, Vincent and Jacinta, are natives of Nigeria and her older brother, Bright, is a member of the country’s men’s national team.

Dike will be a junior for the Cowgirls next season.
