ZILWAUKEE, Mich. (AP) - Authorities say a worker has been killed in an accident at a Saginaw-area concrete plant.
The Saginaw News reports (https://bit.ly/1HyqETg ) that the man died Thursday morning after a concrete beam rolled on him at Stress Con in Zilwaukee. Saginaw County Sheriff’s Department Lt. Randy Pfau says workers were taking a beam out of a mold and placing it on the ground when it rolled and struck the man.
Police haven’t released the man’s name. Investigators are working with the Michigan Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
