WIMAUMA, Fla. (AP) - Authorities say a Tampa Bay area man is dead after being struck by a machine while clearing brush on his property.
Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Officials say 62-year-old Keith A. McClaine was operating a skid lift with articulating arms to clear the heavy brush Wednesday evening. Shortly before 6 p.m., he was struck by one of the articulating arms.
Paramedics and deputies responded to the scene, but McClaine died of his injuries.
Deputies don’t suspect foul play. They listed the cause of death as an unfortunate accident.
