CLARKSBURG, W.Va. (AP) - A Harrison County magistrate is scheduled to stand trial in the fall on charges of sexually abusing a girl under the age of 12.

The Exponent Telegram (https://bit.ly/1J4Cvy2 ) reports that a Harrison County circuit judge set a Nov. 9 trial date for Magistrate Mark Gorby on Wednesday.

The 60-year-old Bridgeport resident is charged with five counts of sexual abuse by a parent, guardian, custodian or person in a position of trust. He will remain free on $100,000 bond.

Gorby has served as a magistrate since 1997. He was suspended without pay following his arrest last October.
