BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) - Louisiana Lottery officials say a $10,000 prize from a December drawing in the multistate Powerball game has yet to be claimed - and is set to expire next month.

The ticket matches four of the first five numbers in the Dec. 27 drawing, as well as the Powerball number. It was sold at a Swifty’s gas station and convenience store on Louisiana Highway 59 in Mandeville. The ticket holder has until 5 p.m. June 25 to claim the prize.

After prizes have passed their redemption deadlines, they are added to the Lottery’s unclaimed prize fund. The Louisiana Lottery Corporation says that money goes to player promotions and increased payouts on scratch-off games.

The winning numbers for the Dec. 27 drawing were seven, 07-10-11-14-36 and a Powerball number of 15.
