CONCORD, N.H. (AP) - Hunters who dream of bagging a moose in New Hampshire this fall need to hustle to get their applications in for the annual moose permit lottery.

Entries must be postmarked or submitted online by midnight Friday, or delivered to the New Hampshire Fish and Game headquarters in Concord before 4 p.m.

The applications cost $15 for residents and $25 for non-residents. They are available online.

Winners of the 105 permits will be selected through a computerized random drawing June 26 at Fish and Game headquarters.

The state’s nine-day moose hunt this year will take place Oct. 17-25.

Last year, more than 10,000 people entered the lottery for the chance to win one of 124 permits.

New Hampshire has had an annual moose hunt since 1988.
