MACON, Ga. (AP) - A judge sentenced a Warner Robins man to life imprisonment without parole for his role in a slaying linked to an embezzlement scheme.

Jurors convicted 25-year-old Keith Anthony Dozier of murder, assault and other charges in the death of 58-year-old Gail Spencer in 2012.

The Macon Telegraph (https://bit.ly/1PS6mOl ) reports that evidence shows Dozier was part of a plan to embezzle hundreds of thousands of dollars from a Macon law firm where Spencer worked.

Dozier denied killing the woman. But he testified Thursday he was in the house while another man used a plastic bag to suffocate her.

Brett Kelly pleaded guilty to murder in 2013 and was sentenced to life without parole.

A third man who worked with the woman at the law firm also pleaded guilty in the slaying.
