INDEPENDENCE, Ore. (AP) - Police have arrested a man in connection to several burglaries in western Oregon after finding more than 300 stolen items in his home.

KGW-TV reports (https://bit.ly/1LN2Kr0 ) that police arrested the man Wednesday after finding him in a crawl space under his home.

Police say they received tips that recent stolen items were at the man’s home. After obtaining a warrant, they found firearms, weapons, drugs and vehicles, much of which was stolen from Independence, Monmouth, Dallas and Polk County.

Police expect more than 20 local burglary and theft investigations will be solved as a result of the search after all the recovered items are processed and returned to their owners.
