ROCHESTER, N.Y. (AP) - A 33-year-old man has been found guilty of killing a Rochester businessman over a used car sale and trying to hire someone to kill a witness to the murder.

A Monroe County jury on Thursday found Willie Rasheen Bell guilty of second-degree murder for the shooting death of Alvin Metcalf Jr. in April 2014. The jury also found him guilty of conspiracy for trying to hire someone to kill his girlfriend, who had witnessed the murder.

Prosecutors say Bell shot Metcalf in the parking lot of Metcalf’s business in a dispute over a used car.

Bell faces 25 years to life for the murder and up to 25 years consecutive time in prison for the conspiracy. He’ll be sentenced by Justice Alex Renzi on June 24.
