CHESTERFIELD, Va. (AP) - A Chesterfield County woman rescued from an apartment fire has died from her injuries.
Chesterfield County fire and EMS Lt. Jason Elmore says 66-year-old Virginia Pauline Bailey was in critical condition after fire crews brought her out of the burning apartment. Bailey later died at VCU Medical Center.
The fire occurred Friday evening at an apartment on South Beulah Road.
The cause of the fire hasn’t been determined.
