CINCINNATI (AP) - Two southwest Ohioans won the top prizes for men and women in the Flying Pig Marathon in Cincinnati.
Twenty-six-year-old Adam Gloyeske from Hamilton crossed the finish line in 2:32:55 to win the men’s marathon Sunday. Thirty-five year-old David Bea (BAY) of Cincinnati was second in the men’s division with a time of 2:35:25.
The women’s marathon was won by 35-year-old Amy Robillard of Montgomery with a time of 2:53:10. Robillard also won last year’s marathon. Second in the women’s division was 40-year-old Kerry Lee, of Cincinnati. She had a time of 2:59:28.
Organizers say more than 37,700 people registered for various events over the three days, a record number of participants in the 17th annual event. Participants in this year’s marathon represent all 50 states and 22 countries.
