PHOENIX (AP) - Police are investigating the overnight shooting death of a man inside a west Phoenix home.
Police spokesman Trent Crump says the shooting occurred early Sunday morning near 43rd Avenue and Sheridan Street.
Crump says officers were responding to a call about a man who allegedly shot himself.
Officers found a victim with a single gunshot wound. He was taken to a hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
Crump says several people at the home told investigators the victim had been arguing with a woman.
Crump says the woman confirmed they had been arguing but has not provided police with any other details.
The investigation is ongoing.
