SADDLE BROOK, N.J. (AP) - A Newark man accused of fatally shooting a cab driver on a northern New Jersey highway last year has been indicted on several charges, including murder.

The Record (https://bit.ly/1JiSSDO) reports 25-year-old Mujahideen Abdullah also faces drug and weapons charges in the 16-count indictment handed up by a Bergen County grand jury.

Abdullah is charged in the June 2014 shooting death of Jeff Mansilla of Hackensack on Interstate 80.

Authorities say the men argued at a strip club, and Abdullah and a female companion allegedly followed Mansilla when he drove off in his cab with an acquaintance and a customer. Abdullah allegedly took out a handgun and fired several shots.

Mansilla was shot in the hip. A passenger drove him to a hospital, but he died there a short time later.
