BOULDER, Colo. (AP) - Authorities have released the name of a 21-year-old man who fell to his death while hiking near Boulder.
The Boulder County coroner’s office identified the victim Monday as Justin Bondi.
Sheriff’s Cmdr. Heidi Prentup tells The Daily Camera (https://goo.gl/KyCVbT ) that Bondi, of Boulder, was hiking with a friend near Flagstaff Mountain on Sunday afternoon when he lost his balance and fell backward about 150 feet.
Two hikers who were passing by performed CPR on Bondi, but he died at the scene. Prentup says the death appears to be accidental.
