CONCORD, N.H. (AP) - Gas prices in New Hampshire have gone up nearly 6 cents per gallon in the past week, to an average of $2.56.

Gasbuddy.com, which surveyed 875 gas stations in the state, says that’s 6 cents less than the national average, which increased 8.5 cents to $2.62 a gallon.

Gas prices in New Hampshire are about $1.08 per gallon lower than they were a year ago and are 27.3 cents per gallon higher than a month ago.

The national average increased 22.7 cents per gallon in the last month and stands nearly $1.06 a gallon less compared to a year ago.
