SEATTLE (AP) - Kent police are asking for the public’s help in finding a vehicle possibly linked to a drive-by shooting that claimed the life of a baby girl.

The 1-year-old, Malijha Grant, died after being shot in the head April 16 as she rode in a car with her parents.

Detectives say they have very little information about the vehicle from which the gunmen shot, believed to be a black sedan with tinted windows.

But there was another vehicle that was seen closely tailing the suspect vehicle as it fled - a gray, four-door Pontiac Grand Am that had been stolen in Renton. It had Washington license plate 678ZRL and a burned-out rear, passenger-side brake light.

Investigators say the killing was related to a series of gang-related shootings between Seattle and Tacoma.

A $1,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of the suspects involved.
