NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - A kitten trapped inside the walls of an apartment complex for several days has been rescued by the fire department.

WSMV-TV (https://bit.ly/1K5KdF0 ) reports residents of the Nashville complex heard the meows of the kitten for several days and tried to get him out. Residents finally called in the fire department, and crews tore through the wall to rescue the kitten.

The kitten has been adopted by the residents of the apartment building. They have named the kitten “Survivor.”
